Scoring

Both players are capable of exploding for 50 points on any given night, but they go about it in an opposite fashion.

Westbrook has the defense on its heels at all times he’s on the floor, using his athleticism and size to get to the basket. More than 41 percent of his attempts come within the restricted area, where he shoots at a 57 percent clip.

His second-most frequent shot type is from mid-range, where his efficiency has drastically improved from previous years. Westbrook’s only shortcoming in terms of scoring is his inept three-point shot, where he is a career 30 percent shooter.

Curry is one of the most lethal shooters ever, boasting a career 44.2 percentage from beyond the arc on nearly seven attempts per game. His ability to hit threes forces opposing defenses to figure out how to limit the damage he can do, which turns into open threes and dunks for his teammates. Curry’s elite ball handing and quick release allow him to create an open shot at any time.
