6. Bobby Portis, Chicago Bulls

For all the people who said there weren’t enough quality power forwards and centers in the NBA and that the game was becoming too perimeter-oriented, I present to you this draft class.

Next up is Portis who’s one of the more interesting prospects in this field because of his athleticism, versatility and outside shooting.

Portis can play either the 4 or the 5 because of his inside-outside offensive game. He’s comfortable knocking down jump shots but has enough moves to make defenses pay if they give him enough room to work with in the post.

Nowadays post players are so skilled because coaches want everyone to have shooting capability, but not all bigs possess scoring prowess from all areas of the floor. Portis has that and it wouldn’t shock me one bit to see him get to Sunday’s main event at least once in his career.
