1. Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves

Speaking of freakish bigs, Towns fits that bill and then some.

Another seven-footer who can do it all, Towns has displayed proficiency in every part of the professional game already this season. And when I say every part, I mean it. He’s even handled the ball in transition and proven he knows what to do with it when he has it.

He shoots from three, scores on the block and plays team defense rather than just protecting the rim. Towns is an intelligent player with the athleticism to match.

Not only does he have All-Star potential but I expect him among the league’s top 10 players in a few years. He’s that good.
