The Greatest Offense In The NBA – Golden State Warriors

Initially the plan was to include the best scoring team and the best passing team as separate categories. That might have worked in a different season, but this year the Golden State Warriors are both the best scoring and passing team.

The Warriors lead the NBA in points per game, assists per game, three-point percentage, offensive rating, assist ratio, assist/turnover ratio, assist percentage, and true shooting percentage. So it’s pretty safe to say that Golden State is home to the best offense in the NBA this season on every front.

Look no further than the reigning MVP for the reason the Warriors are so tremendous on offense. Of course there are other skilled scorers in Oakland as well, but Stephen Curry is on another level entirely. Literally.

He’s on pace to break the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s record for wins added per 48 minutes. Kareem added .340 wins per 48 in 1972. Curry is currently adding .347 wins per 48. Most of those added wins come on offense, where Curry has already added an NBA best 8.1 wins to the Warriors.

Golden State would probably be a good team without Steph Curry, but with him they’re undeniably great. Watching their offense go up against the best defense in the NBA is going to be a treat for basketball fans everywhere.
