2. Andrew Wiggins (20 years, 11 months), Minnesota Timberwolves

2015-16 statistics: 20.8 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 1.8 APG, PER 16.63

Wiggins has shown the potential to be a star ever since he stepped on the floor last season during his rookie campaign. His freakish athleticism and offensive skill set is what made him the top overall pick in the 2014 draft over Duke’s Jabari Parker, and the Timberwolves have been the beneficiary.

There are still conversations of criticism towards the Cleveland Cavaliers for trading Wiggins to Minnesota in exchange for Kevin Love. With Love’s “struggles” in Cleveland, the question of whether or not Wiggins would have been a better fit will remain until a championship is hoisted by the Cavaliers.

Coming off winning the Rookie of the Year Award last season, Wiggins still has the drive to improve, as his stats has shown throughout the first-half of this season. He is currently tied for fourth in scoring among NBA shooting guards even with his continued struggles to find success behind the arc with a 24.3 percent success rate from three.

If he can keep improving his outside shot, it will open up countless scoring opportunities not only for him, but his entire team.
