Top Four Cs

  1. Andre Drummond (Pistons) – $8,900 @ Nuggets
  2. Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves) – $7,000 vs. Grizzlies
  3. Mason Plumlee (Trail Blazers) – $5,200 vs. Lakers
  4. Frank Kaminsky (Hornets) – $5,000 vs. Knicks

Rationale:

  • Drummond’s coming off of a 56.5-fantasy point performance against the Pelicans. He should dominate the Nuggets twin-headed attack on the boards, and could be a factor scoring. He plays against the 16th team against centers.
  • Towns only scored 27.3 fantasy points against the Grizzlies in their first game. Towns is coming off of a dominating 27-point, 17-rebound performance that yielded 67.25 fantasy points. He leads all rookies in double-doubles with 21. If Marc Gasol can’t play (left knee contusion), Towns should have a big game against the 21st team versus centers.
  • Plumlee is scoring 29.9 FPPG in two meetings with the Lakers. Playing against the worst team against centers should bode well for Plumlee, who could improve on the boards at home.
  • Kaminsky has played well since earning more minutes and a greater role. He’s averaging 26.7 FPPG in six games since he received a minutes increase. He’s playing 27.7 minutes per game in that span. He is a good value play, though he’s against the 11th-best team versus centers.
