Top Four SFs

  1. LeBron James (Cavaliers) – $9,700 vs. Bulls
  2. Marcus Morris (Pistons) – $5,400 @ Nuggets
  3. Matt Barnes (Grizzlies) – $5,100 @ Timberwolves
  4. Al-Farouq Aminu (Trail Blazers) – $5,100 vs. Lakers

Rationale:

  • James is the only elite player to target on Saturday. With Lue promoted to head coach, expect the Cavs to play hard for him. James scored 48.5 fantasy points in a previous meeting with the Bulls. Playing against the fourth-worst team versus small forwards will only help James.
  • Morris has two games of 30-plus fantasy points in his last four games. He provides good value at a weak position for Saturday. His matchup against the 24th team against small forwards should favor him.
  • Barnes is averaging 27.0 FPPG over his last six games. With Tony Allen listed as questionable for Saturday (knee), according to CBS Sports, Barnes may get the start. Even if he doesn’t start, he’s played well off the bench. The Wolves are 18th against small forwards.
  • Aminu is only scoring 21.1 FPPG in two meetings with the Lakers this season. He’s averaging a pedestrian 24.3 FPPG over his last six contests. He provides some of the best opportunities to return value on Saturday against the third-worst team versus small forwards.
