Best Bargains

Dion Waiters ($4,100) has been providing good value as of late. He’s scored 22.5 fantasy points against the Hornets in their previous contest. He has scored 22-plus fantasy points in four of his last five games. Playing against the third-worst team against shooting guards, Waiters should have another strong showing off of the bench.

Aaron Gordon ($4,200) should also provide good value on Wednesday. He scored 23 fantasy points against the 76ers in their first meeting. He’s playing well lately, averaging 20.1 FPPG over his last nine games. His athleticism is tough to match and should have an advantage against the fifth-worst team against small forwards.

More from Hoops Habit

Damian Lillard ($9,300) has struggled in his last two games, scoring 23.3 FPPG. That’s almost 20 FPPG less than his season average of 43.2 FPPG. Not only has he struggled in his last two games, he’s playing against the best versus point guards. Dennis Schroeder and Jeff Teague make things very difficult on opposing point guards.

Kevin Love ($7,200) appears to have a favorable matchup against the 21st team versus power forwards. Despite scoring 41.3 fantasy points against the Nets earlier this year, Love hit 6-of-11 on three-pointers. Don’t anticipate on that happening again against an athletic power forward in Thaddeus Young.

Love is also coming off of a pitiful performance against the Warriors, where he only scored three points.

A couple of notes surrounding injuries and lineups. The Bulls started Taj Gibson at power forward and Pau Gasol at center on Monday with Joakim Noah out for an extended period of time. Kristaps Porzingis anticipates playing Wednesday after he took a hard fall during Monday’s game, according to the New York Post‘s Fred Kerber.

Derrick Favors, who hasn’t played since Dec. 23, is doubtful for Wednesday night with a back injury, according to KSL.com’s Andy Larsen.
