Of the 22 teams playing on Wednesday night, three teams are playing on the second night of a back-to-back. Six of the night’s games will be intra-conference games and the other five will be cross-conference contests.

There are a slew of good games expected. It should be another night of high-scoring matchups, unlike Monday’s contests that featured several overtime games. Expect the league’s premiere scorers to be of high value due to the potential of so many high-scoring matchups.

The first game to keep an eye on is the Boston Celtics (22-20) heading north of the boarder to play the Toronto Raptors (26-15). The two teams should play a highly competitive game that should go down to the wire. They combine for 204.2 points per game with the Celtics ranking seventh in the NBA.

The second game features the Golden State Warriors (38-4) and the Chicago Bulls (24-16). The Dubs are coming off of an 132-point statement in a win over Cleveland. Golden State and Chicago are combining for 216.4 points per game this season, and could be the highest-scoring contest of the night.

The Detroit Pistons (22-19) head south to take on the Houston Rockets (22-21). Detroit is 15th in scoring and the Rockets are fifth. The two teams combine to score 205.7 points per game this season.

Last but not least, the Charlotte Hornets (19-22) are on the road to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder (30-12). The Hornets are 13th and the Thunder are second in scoring this season. They combine for 210.2 points per game.

Each of these games should produce high-scoring games. All will be good to watch, if there’s an opportunity to do so. But let’s get to who has the best mis-matches and top picks for Wednesday.
