Top Four SFs

  1. LeBron James (Cavaliers) – $9,800 vs. Warriors
  2. Kent Bazemore (Hawks) – $6,000 vs. Magic
  3. Marcus Morris (Pistons) – $5,400 vs. Bulls
  4. Trevor Ariza (Rockets) – $5,200 @ Clippers

Rationale:

  • James scored 43.8 fantasy points on Christmas Day against the Warriors. Over his last six games he’s scoring 50.2 FPPG. James will have to be more of a factor against the Warriors if Cleveland wants to hand them their second straight loss. Golden State is 17th against small forwards.
  • Bazemore scored 28 fantasy points in his first meeting with the Magic. He is a force when he gets open and high percentage shots. It drives his fantasy value up by at least six fantasy points. He was 5-for-9 the first time the two teams met. He will play against the 13th team against shooting guards.
  • Morris is averaging 36.0 FPPG in two matchups with the Bulls this season. He has a favorable matchup against a Bulls team that is third-worst against small forwards. He’s coming off of a 37-fantasy point performance against the Warriors, which should give him positive momentum versus a team he’s excelled against.
  • Ariza is averaging 27.9 FPPG in two contests against the Clippers. He is a two-way player that will have an impact on both ends of the court. If the game gets into a shootout, Ariza could score a lot of points against the 10th team versus small forwards.
