10. Emmanuel Mudiay, Denver Nuggets

I could’ve easily put someone more deserving in this spot, but since Mudiay was fairly high in my preseason rankings it’s important to note just how disappointing he’s been as a rookie to this point in the season.

Struggling isn’t a strong enough word to describe what Mudiay’s gone through as a point guard adapting to the NBA game. From turnovers (3.9 per game) to bad shooting from every spot on the floor (.315/.256/.663 slash line) it’s been tough for the first-year guard who played professionally in China last year to have a positive impact on the Nuggets. He’s even lost his starting spot to Jameer Nelson of late.

With that being said, there have been a few flashes of brilliance thanks to his elite athleticism and toughness. Unfortunately though, it’ll be quite some time before we see the real Mudiay on the court in Denver.
