2. Kristaps Porzingis, New York Knicks

I was high on Porzingis before the draft and I’ve been more than validated thanks to his brilliant play through the first half of the NBA season.

He’s been a No. 2 option next to Carmelo Anthony in New York City and has done more than live up to the hype. From holding regular block parties to shooting threes from halfcourt, it’s been Porzingis’ game from the start and he won’t slow down anytime soon.

Porzingis has the potential of Dirk Nowitzki with defensive prowess, and man is that a dirty combination.

Excitement is back with the Knicks, something we haven’t had a chance to say in a long time.
