1. Milwaukee Bucks

Why should the Milwaukee Bucks be so quick to trade Greg Monroe? Things haven’t gone according to plan, but the Bucks are just 5.0 games back of the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference with 39 outings remaining on the schedule.

There’s more than enough time to make up the deficit.

Milwaukee has been unsuccessful early in 2015-16, and that’s a tough pill to swallow given the money it invested into its current crop of young players. The Bucks have been hindered by injuries and slow starts, including Jabari Parker’s recovery from knee surgery.

Now that Milwaukee is healthy, they’ve quietly put together a solid turnaround.

Behind Monroe’s efforts, Milwaukee is 6-4 over its past 10 games. That may not be an overwhelming level of success, but Monroe is thriving, Jabari Parker is getting his legs back under him, and both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton are playing at a high level.

More hoops habit: Is Greg Monroe one of the Top 20 players in the NBA?

It may not be the most ideal situation at the present time, but Monroe and the Bucks need to stick it out in 2014-15.
