Kay Felder, Oakland Golden Grizzlies

Position: Point Guard

Age: 20 (3/29/1995)

Height & Weight: 5’9″ & 176 pounds

Slash Line: .443/.364/.830

Season Averages: 37.5 MPG, 25.8 PPG, 8.7 APG, 3.9 RPG, 2.1 SPG, 2.3 3PM

Kay Felder of the Oakland Golden Grizzlies is the most likely prospect to follow in the footsteps of Nate Robinson and Isaiah Thomas. Much like those two fan favorites, Felder is a 5’9″ point guard who can put up points in a hurry.

What separates Felder from Robinson and Thomas as prospects is his tremendous court vision.

Felder leads all Division I players with an average of 8.7 assists per game—a number that accurately reflects his translatable ability. He sees the floor exceptionally well, and while he may turn the ball over at a relatively high rate, he’s cut down on turnovers and improved his assist numbers from 2014-15 to 2015-16.

That’s a positive trend worth tracking..

Along with being No. 1 in assists, Felder is No. 3 in the country in points per game at an efficiently explosive 25.8. He excels in attacking off the bounce, as evidenced by his 8.3 free throw attempts per game, and has NBA range on his jump shot.

Felder’s height will hurt his draft stock, but he has the athleticism and skill to be an NBA player.
