6. Derrick Williams

Like Derrick Williams‘ game, Derrick Williams’ hair has been a work in progress ever since he was taken with the second overall pick in 2011. He’s never lived up to his billing as a top-two pick, averaging 8.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per game for the New York Knicks this season, but his hair has the makings of a No. 1 overall pick.

I don’t even know how to describe Derrick Williams’ hair. It’s fluid and constantly moving as Williams runs up and down the court, almost like watching coral move underwater with the shifting currents of the sea.

His hair is like Medusa’s snake heads come to life, but more enjoyable to behold. It’s like if Predator were an NBA player who dyed the ends orange just to add a little more intimidation to the mix.

Derrick Williams’ hair is legendary, and even if there are no beads or shells on the end, I like to imagine his hair making the same sound that Monica from Friends made when she went through her island dreadlock phase:

I don’t care if his hair looks like one of those Puffer Ball toys that you give to your children for no other purpose than squeezing. It’s too much fun for him to not make the list.
