10. The Fescue Crew

I blame Odell Beckham Jr. for starting this trend, but apparently the “in thing” now is to have hair that looks like fescue. You remember fescue, right? That word that FOX broadcasters couldn’t stop saying during the most recent U.S. Open? In any case, with the fescue greens looking more reddish brown than green, apparently OBJ and a legion of NBA players were inspired.

That inspiration has turned into a myriad of fluffy, curly-haired mohawks with a reddish-brown tint that looks like, well, fescue. The most notorious rockers of said fescue-‘do are Marcus Smart and Jared Sullinger of the Boston Celtics, but Allen Crabbe of the Portland Trail Blazers probably pulls it off best.

This is the NBA rockstar hairdo right now, so it’s no surprise that Nick Young is getting in on the act too. Hell, all Kelly Oubre is missing to join the crew is that twinge of orange coloring. The fescue-‘do is becoming a thing.
