4. Playmaking Ability

Despite not being known as a threat from beyond the arc, DeRozan can still give a defense nightmares from the perimeter. His defender can be playing off a few feet to prepare themselves for the drive, but DeRozan is still able to maneuver passed them and collapsing the defense as a whole–in large part because of his length.

One move in particular that is deadly for DeRozan because of his length is the step-through. It’s likely that if you tune into a Raptors game, you’ll see him use it at least once.
