Punt Plays

  • Wesley Johnson, L.A. Clippers ($3,900) vs. Miami Heat: Johnson has emerged as an integral part of the Clippers’ bench this month, as he’s eclipsed the 26 fantasy point mark in two of the team’s four games; in addition, those performances included a five-steal and a four-steal night. The former lottery pick out of Syracuse clearly hasn’t lived up to his billing, but he may have finally found a home on his fourth team in six seasons. The Heat have slipped into the lower third vs. SFs over their past 10 games so Johnson may have a chance to extend his career month against them while they’re dinged up and visiting the opposite coast.
  • Drew Gooden, Washington Wizards ($3,800) vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Gooden should continue to see an uptick in minutes while Marcin Gortat is sidelined with an infected knee. The cagey vet is coming off a 30.9 fantasy point game in his last outing, and tonight he gets a Bucks squad that is dead last over their past 10 contests vs. centers (where Gooden lines up).

My Lineup for Jan. 13:

Position Name Cost
PG Stephen Curry $10,700
PG Tyreke Evans $7,800
SG Giannis Antetokounmpo $6,800
SG Arron Afflalo $4,700
SF Otto Porter $6,100
SF Wesley Johnson $3,900
PF Ryan Anderson $5,500
PF Drew Gooden $3,800
C DeMarcus Cousins $10,600
Total Cost $60,000
