Top Four PFs

  1. DeMarcus Cousins (Kings) – $10,700 vs. Pelicans
  2. Paul Millsap (Hawks) – $8,300 @ Hornets
  3. Kristaps Porzingis (Knicks) – $7,000 @ Nets
  4. Thaddeus Young (Nets)- $7,200 vs. Knicks

Rationale:

  • Cousins has been on fire in his last five games, averaging 59.25 FPPG. He’s had a double-double in four of those five games and scored 30-plus points in four of five games. The Pelicans rank fifth against power forwards this season, but Boogie’s physicality should benefit him.
  • Millsap is averaging 41.3 FPPG in two games against the Hornets this season. He has bested his season average (40.4 FPPG) in five of his last seven games this season. His ability to stretch the floor and pass the ball makes him a strong play against the 18th-ranked team against power forwards.
  • Porzingis is turning fans that “booed” him on draft day in to believers this season. He’s averaging 42.6 FPPG in his last three games. He scored 41.6 fantasy points in his first meeting with the Nets this season. Playing against the Nets, who are 24th against power forwards, makes it easier to play on a back-to-back after the Knicks were home on Tuesday.
  • Young hasn’t played well over his last four games, scoring 23.9 FPPG. He did score 35.3 fantasy points in his previous meeting with the Knicks this season. The Knicks are the second-worst team against power forwards, so Young should bounce back form his cold play as of late.
