Top Four SFs

  1. Nicolas Batum (Hornets) – $7,500 vs. Hawks
  2. Danilo Gallinari (Nuggets) – $7,100 vs. Warriors
  3. Rudy Gay (Kings) – $6,900 vs. Pelicans
  4. Kent Bazemore (Hawks) – $6,500 @ Hornets

Rationale:

  • Batum is scoring 38.8 FPPG in two games against the Hawks this season. He averages 10.3 FPPG better at home (39.6) than he does on the road (29.3). Playing against the 24th team against small forwards makes Batum a great play.
  • Gallinari has been hot, scoring 40.1 FPPG over his last five contests. In three games against the Warriors he’s averaging 32.8 FPPG, his season average. Gallinari should continue to play well against the Warriors, who are the 17th team against small forwards.
  • Gay has shot the ball well in his last three games. He’s 30-for-52 (57.7 percent) and is averaging 24.0 points per game during that span. He’s also averaging 39.5 FPPG in that span. Though he hasn’t played against the Pelicans (22nd vs. SF) this season, he should continue to ride his hot streak.
  • Bazemore has played better than his season average (26.4 FPPG) in four of his last six games. In two games against the Hornets he’s averaging 34.4 FPPG. As an all-around player, Bazemore should continue to play well, despite Charlotte ranking fifth against small forwards.
