Top Four PGs

  1. Russell Westbrook (Thunder) – $10,700 vs. Mavericks
  2. Damian Lillard (Trail Blazers) – $9,200 vs. Jazz
  3. Chris Paul (Clippers) – $9,100 vs. Heat
  4. Michael Carter-Williams (Bucks) – $7,500 @ Wizards

Rationale:

  • Westbrook is playing well, averaging 60.0 FPPG over his last three contests. He’s notched a double-double in each of the three games, including a 15-assist performance. Westbrook scored 64.8 fantasy points against the Mavericks in their first meeting. Dallas is fourth-worst in the league against point guards.
  • Lillard has been great in his last three games, averaging 58.75 FPPG against the Clippers, Warriors and Thunder. He scored 46.0 fantasy points in his first meeting with the Jazz. In that game he hit five three-pointers and shot 51.9 percent from the floor. Utah is eighth against opposing point guards.
  • Paul is averaging 52.2 FPPG in his last four games. He shoots much better at home (.500/.458/.905) than he does on the road (.412/.246/.873). He should have another good game, despite playing the best team against point guards.
  • MCW has paced better than his season average of 30.1 FPPG in seven of his last eight games. Though he is only averaging 27.9 FPPG in two meetings with the Wizards, it’s still a good matchup. The Wizards are 24th in opponents points per game, allowing 103.8 points per game. They rank 16th against point guards.
