Klay Thompson had a huge week with three 30-plus point performances. To much surprise, this is Thompson’s first appearance on Giacubeno’s Gunners, and he made his debut with a string of games that will be hard to top.

Thompson recorded two games of 36 points–one in a win against Portland, and the other in a win against the Los Angeles Lakers. Against Portland, Thompson went 13-for-22 from the field while finishing 7-for-10 from three. He scored 19 of his 36 in the first quarter alone. Thompson is one of the best shooters there is in the NBA, and he reminded us all once again this past week.

The Warriors are back to going out each and every night expecting to blow out their opponent. Losing those two games (one without Stephen Curry) could arguably been good for this group now that they can get back to their relaxed but focused mindset instead of investing all of their energy into the winning streak they had to start the season (24-0) before being defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks.
