Top Four PGs

  1. Russell Westbrook (Thunder) – $10,700 @ Timberwolves
  2. Michael Carter-Williams (Bucks) – $7,500 vs. Bulls
  3. Reggie Jackson (Pistons) – $7,100 vs. Spurs
  4. Ricky Rubio (Timberwolves) – $6,900 vs. Thunder

Rationale:

  • Westbrook has been great in his past two games, scoring 60-plus fantasy points. He again is the most expensive player in DraftKings leagues. He goes up against Minnesota, which is  the 14th-ranked team against point guards.
  • Carter-Williams torched the Bulls for 46.8 fantasy points in their first meeting. He tallied 20 points, 12 assists and shot 64.9 percent from the field. MCW is coming off of a 1-for-8 shooting, 22-minute performance against the Knicks. Though Chicago is 11th against point guards, MCW matches up well against them.
  • Jackson is averaging 6.4 FPPG better at home than on the road. He’s coming off of two 35-plus fantasy point performances and he hasn’t played since Saturday. Jackson should be explosive against the 12th-ranked team against point guards.
  • Rubio is more of a traditional point guard that is an all-around player, not a scorer. He’s averaging 9.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game in his career against the Thunder. He does the small things that add up in fantasy leagues. The Thunder rank 21st against point guards this season.
