2016 NBA Rookie Ladder: How High Is D’angelo Russell’s Ceiling?

6. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets

I don’t want to see him fall out of the starting lineup, but Jokic will lose minutes now that Jusuf Nurkic is back in the fold.

Regardless of how much time he gets moving forward, Jokic still has loads of offensive potential thanks to his ability to shoot well from outside.

He knocks down free throws at a decent clip, finishes inside and scores from the perimeter. Jokic is pretty much your modern big man.

Both him and Nurkic give the Nuggets different looks inside, so it’ll be interesting to see how the frontcourt minutes balance out moving forward, but Jokic is one of my favorite rookies to watch.
