10. Larry Nance Jr., Los Angeles Lakers

What a year it’s been for the rookies. I’ve had a large number of players in and out of these rankings because guys continue to rise and prove themselves worthy of more playing time.

Before the year started you would’ve thought Julius Randle would be the Lakers’ starting power forward. Almost halfway through the season that’s not the case.

Nance Jr. has played terrific basketball this season because of the versatility and energy he brings.

Whether it’s diving for a loose ball, grabbing a timely rebound or shooting from the perimeter, Nance Jr. has a well-rounded game for someone taken late in the first round of the draft.

The more time he gets on the floor the better he looks, and I don’t think he’ll be dropping out of these rankings anytime soon.
