Top Four Cs

  1. Greg Monroe (Bucks) – $6,400 @ Knicks
  2. Kelly Olynyk (Celtics) – $5,100 @ Grizzlies
  3. Enes Kanter (Thunder) – $4,900 @ Trail Blazers
  4. Jeff Withey (Jazz) – $4,700 @ Lakers

Rationale:

  • Monroe is scoring 38.9 FPPG in three games against the Knicks this season. With a center position that’s lacking, Monroe should be a bargain based on his season performances, despite the Knicks being eighth against centers.
  • Olynyk has played well in his last two games, averaging 27.0 FPPG. His ability to knock down three-pointers provides an extra value that most centers can’t. Playing against the Grizzlies’ second unit should also be beneficial. They rank 24th as a team against centers.
  • Kanter scored 28.8 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers in their first meeting this season. He grabbed 13 rebounds in that contest. Though he’s seen a minutes reduction, he’s still providing value and should get plenty of playing time against Portland, who ranks 18th against centers.
  • Withey played well in Gobert’s absence, and if Favors sits out he could see more minutes on Sunday. He’s averaging 29.5 FPPG over his last seven games. In a reserve role, he’ll have success against the Lakers. They are second-worst against centers this season.
