Top Four PFs

  1. Nerlens Noel (76ers) – $6,600 vs. Cavaliers
  2. Serge Ibaka (Thunder) – $6,100 @ Trail Blazers
  3. Kristaps Porzingis (Knicks) – $6,700 vs. Bucks
  4. Julius Randle (Lakers) – $5,000 vs. Jazz

Rationale:

  • Noel has played well in three games against the Cavaliers, averaging 39.8 FPPG. He has shot 51.2 percent against them and is averaging 15.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. He should have another good games against Cleveland, though they are 11th against power forwards this season.
  • Ibaka scored 26.5 fantasy points against Portland in their only meeting this year. He only had four rebounds in that game, but did have four blocks. With the offensive game expected, Ibaka may have a strong offensive output to go with his rebounding and defense. Portland is 27th against power forwards.
  • Porzingis is averaging 27.3 FPPG in three games against the Bucks this year. The Bucks are ranked 28th against power forwards this season. Porzingis comes home after averaging 34.2 FPPG on the Knicks’ three-game road trip. He has a good matchup against Milwaukee and plays slightly better at home, too.
  • Randle’s matchup against the Jazz is a good one, if Derrick Favors misses the game due to back spasms. Favors sat out Saturday’s game and there’s no telling if he’ll play Sunday. Randle’s averaging 18.4 FPPG over his last four games. He is a bargain at $5,000 for a starting power forward.
