No. 4 Brook Lopez

Total C rating: 30.5

The past couple of seasons, Lopez has failed to be noticed because of the Nets’ struggles as a team and lack of national attention, but make no mistake, he is still one of the best centers in the NBA. His 7’0″ 275 lb-frame overwhelms his matchup every game and putting that alongside his slower, but flawless footwork is what makes him so effective.

The one-time All-Star is having one of the better seasons of his eight-year career, averaging 19.9 points, a career-high 8.7 rebounds and two blocks per game. Lopez has posted 15 double-doubles on the season, which ranks seventh amongst centers. He was also named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played through Dec. 28 through Jan. 3.

The Nets as a team are struggling again as they sit in 14th place in the Eastern Conference with a 10-25 record. The focus of the future has to be to supply Lopez with better perimeter players to subtract the double-teams he goes against each game. As it looks for the rest of this season though, Lopez will continue to post solid numbers while the Nets end the season as one of the worst teams in the league.
