14. Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers

Last Rank: No. 6

Position: Power Forward

Age: 26

Slash Line: .508/.353/.725

Season Averages: 34.9 MPG, 23.2 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 1.6 ORPG, 5.0 APG, 0.7 SPG

Blake Griffin continues to miss time, and the Los Angeles Clippers continue to win games. The latter part doesn’t hurt the 26-year-old terribly, but the former does.

With the way the NBA’s top stars are thriving, Griffin inevitably plummets in the midst of a six-game injury absence.

Griffin is projected to miss more games, but his potential return should help him rise back up the rankings. The disparity between he and those who are now ahead of him was simply too small for him to remain as high as he was.

Nevertheless, Griffin’s outstanding season must be praised.

Griffin has expanded his range to the point of leading the league in 2-point field goals made from 16-to-23 feet. He’s developed a back-to-the-basket attack, ranking No. 9 in points via post-ups per game.

Griffin is also No. 10 in scoring average and No. 2 amongst power forwards in assists per game. He’s been superb.
