What a time to be a fan of the NBA.

Mere days into 2016, the Association has already provided its fans with fireworks. The Golden State Warriors have been joined by three legitimate contenders in the Western Conference, Stephen Curry seems to have some competition for MVP, and an unsung hero is making history.

If you aren’t excited, then you haven’t been paying attention.

The 2015-16 NBA regular season is rapidly approaching its midway point, which signals that evaluations and reputations are becoming set in stone. There’s still plenty of time for a player to improve or regress, but what they do from hereon out will define their campaign.

The question is, which players have emerged as the elite of the elite in 2015-16?
