Sacramento Kings: Marco Belinelli

2015-16 Salary: $6.1 million
2016-17 Salary: $6.3 million
2017-18 Salary: $6.6 million

Honorable Mention: Darren Collison

Technically speaking, DeMarcus Cousins is on one of the best max-level contracts in the league after agreeing to a four-year, $62 million extension with the Sacramento Kings in 2013. But since a max-level deal automatically disqualifies him, we’ll go with Marco Belinelli’s excessively team-friendly three-year, $19 million contract.

This season, Belinelli is averaging 11.6 points in 26.3 minutes per game. He’s only shooting 40.7 percent from the field and 32.9 percent from three-point range, but that may have just been an off December since he converted 37.4 percent and 43.0 percent of his threes over his two seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.

Darren Collison deserves some acknowledgement here as well, but the arrival of Rajon Rondo has made him slightly less important, and Belinelli has an extra year on his deal to add to his value.
