Top Four Centers

  1. DeAndre Jordan, L.A. Clippers ($7,900) vs. Portland Trail Blazers
  2. Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets ($8,500) vs. Toronto Raptors
  3. Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons ($9,200) vs. Boston Celtics
  4. Jonas Valanciunas, Toronto Raptors ($5,600) vs. Brooklyn Nets

Rationale:

  • The Trail Blazers are fifth-worst overall vs. opposing centers and Jordan is averaging 42.3 FPPG over his last two outings. The former Aggie had a 24-rebound, 18-point game in the most recent meeting between the teams, and that was with a healthy Blake Griffin in the lineup.
  • Lopez’s run of three games with 44-plus fantasy points came to an end in the rematch with Boston, but he has a good chance to return to his recent elite form against a Raptors team that is third-worst vs. his position over their last five contests.
  • Drummond has produced a double-double in nine of his last 10 games, and the Celtics are in the bottom third vs. pivots over that same span. In two meetings between the teams this season, Big Penguin is averaging 19.0 points and 17.0 rebounds, both of which are just ahead of his 18.1 PPG and 16.0 RPG overall.
  • JV has exceeded 22 fantasy points in four of the five outings since his return, and the Nets are dead last overall on FanDuel NBA against his position. Since neither starting center seems capable of playing defense, this game will probably look more like HORSE inside the paint.
