The Oklahoma City Thunder have been one of the most successful franchises in the NBA since their inaugural season in 2008. Their roster has featured an MVP, Sixth Man of the Year and multiple All-Star appearances.

Success has been a part of this franchise since their days as the Seattle SuperSonics, which includes a championship in 1979. There was also a very successful period of time when Gary Payton was throwing alley-oops to Shawn Kemp and George Karl led the team to playoffs, making one Finals appearance against Michael Jordan‘s Chicago Bulls in 1996.

Fast forward another 16 years, and the Thunder found themselves back in the Finals led by a young superstar trio of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden.
