4. Bobby Portis, Chicago Bulls

Let’s give credit where credit is due. The Bulls deserve a round of applause for their drafting efforts over recent years.

They’ve got another steal in Portis who looks like he deserves mention in the best player conversation in this draft class. He knows he’s good enough and now I’m beginning to believe it too.

Portis is a terror on the offensive end. He scores easily between low-post moves and a smooth stroke from outside. I didn’t see this kind of potential from him when he was at Arkansas. I saw a solid post player who could make an impact down the road for a playoff team.

Now he’s dropping double-digit games on the regular for the Eastern Conference’s second-best team behind the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He’s a star in the making. It’s time to believe in Portis.
