Low: Jodie Meeks Injury

Jodie Meeks suffered a foot injury in the first half of the Pistons’ home opener on Oct. 30. Meeks underwent surgery to repair a nondisplaced fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot and was originally expected to miss 12-16 weeks, according to the Detroit Free Press’ Vince Ellis.

It has been nine weeks since he underwent surgery. Meeks was expected to be a factor into a weak bench rotation.

Meeks, 28, averaged 11.1 points per game last season and shot 41.6 percent from the field. His range and ability to knock down shots is obviously missed on a bench that is built on defense and lacks offensive production. Meeks had 2.2 offensive win shares last year.
