FanDuel NBA: Best Picks, Lineup For Dec. 30
Punt Play of the Night: Al-Farouq Aminu, Portland Trail Blazers ($4,900) vs. Denver Nuggets
Aminu was off to a quick start for his new team, and for a while there was talk of using him in a stretch-4 capacity. Unfortunately he began to regress and now he’s just a generic small forward on an overachieving but often overmatched Trail Blazers team.
That said, Wednesday night the former Demon Deacon has a chance to fill the stat sheet tonight against a tired Denver team that will still be without starter Danilo Gallinari. Amid the Rooster’s absence the Nuggets haves been third-worst overall vs. SFs in their past five games, and that doesn’t include LeBron James’ 34-point performance on Tuesday night.
While Aminu is unlikely to duplicate the King’s exploits, he is certainly capable of around 25 fantasy points of his own, which would be suitable ROI at his cost.
