Top Four Power Forwards

  1. Pau Gasol, Chicago Bulls ($8,900) vs. Indiana Pacers
  2. Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers ($6,000) vs. Sacramento Kings
  3. Jared Sullinger, Boston Celtics ($5,500) vs. L.A. Lakers
  4. Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors ($9,200) vs. Dallas Mavericks

Rationale:

  • Gasol is averaging 42.6 FPPG over his last three contests and the Pacers are in the lower third vs. opposing centers (where Gasol lines up) over their past five games.
  • The Kings are fourth-worst overall vs. PFs and Noel has averaged 35.0 FPPG over his last two outings. Last season the former lottery pick averaged a double-double (15.0 PPG, 11.0 RPG) in two games vs. Sacramento, which was significantly above the 9.9 PPG and 8.1 RPG overall for his rookie campaign.
  • Sully had a clunker his last time out, but he has a good chance to rebound against a Lakers team that is fourth-most generous to opposing centers (where he also lines up).
  • Green is tough to pinpoint without knowing the status of Steph Curry in advance, since he seems to thrive when teams devote their defensive attention to the Baby-Faced Assassin. He should still be reasonably productive without Curry but expectations should probably be tempered since Mavs are just middle of the pack vs. opposing PFs on FanDuel NBA.
