Top Four Point Guards

  1. Isaiah Thomas, Boston Celtics ($8,100) vs. L.A. Lakers
  2. Rajon Rondo, Sacramento Kings ($7,800) vs. Philadelphia 76ers
  3. Ish Smith, Philadelphia 76ers ($5,200) vs. Sacramento Kings
  4. Chris Paul, L.A. Clippers ($9,000) vs. Charlotte Hornets

Rationale:

  • Apparently the Sixers knew what they were doing when they re-acquired Smith; he is coming off a 40.1 fantasy point game in his last outing and more of the same could be on tap against a Kings squad that is third-most generous overall to his position.
  • Paul has a better matchup than the Washington Wizards’ John Wall Wednesday night, as the Toronto Raptors (Wall’s opponent) are second-toughest overall vs. PGs and the Hornets are just average. Last season CP3 averaged 21.5 PPG and 11.5 APG in two meetings with Charlotte, which both exceeded his 19.1 PPG and 10.2 APG overall.
