15. Julius Erving and Moses Malone, Philadelphia 76ers

It may seem like a lifetime ago, and for many Philadelphia 76er fans it actually has been, but the Sixers franchise has won championships and had great seasons. Some of the best of those seasons came in the four years between 1982 and 1986 that Julius Erving and Moses Malone shared the floor in Philly.

In their first season together in 1982-83, the 76ers boasted a 65-17 record and won the franchise’s last (to date) NBA championship. As a duo, they never returned to the Finals but they had a record of 229-99 over those four seasons, which was good for a 69.8 winning percentage.

After Malone departed for Washington at the end of 1986, Dr. J played one more season in Philly before hanging it up after the 1987 season.

Erving retired as the fourth-highest scorer in Sixers history with 18,364 points.
