A Legitimate Playoff Run

Another regular season, another strong start. After setting a franchise record for regular season victories in 2013-14 AND 2014-15, the 2015-16 campaign is off to a similarly successful beginning. But this time around, the Toronto Raptors are hoping they can get deeper into the postseason than the first round.

In 2013-14 it was disheartening to lose that seven-game series with home-court advantage, but they lost in a hard-fought battle against a more experienced Brooklyn Nets team. The following season, however, there was no excuse to be swept by the Washington Wizards with home-court advantage once again.

The additions of DeMarre Carroll, Bismack Biyombo and Cory Joseph added depth and defense to a team that needed both. Now it’s just a matter of making good on We The North’s greatest wish that this team makes it past the damn first round this time.
