Top Four Power Forwards

  1. Pau Gasol, Chicago Bulls ($8,900) vs. Brooklyn Nets (tired team)
  2. Jared Sullinger, Boston Celtics ($5,900) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (tired team)
  3. Marvin Williams, Charlotte Hornets ($5,000) vs. Houston Rockets
  4. Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers ($9,200) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Rationale:

  • Gasol is coming off a monster game (64.5 fantasy points) last time out and tonight he draws a tired Nets team that’s fifth worst overall vs. opposing centers (where he lines up). You know what to do.
  • The T-Wolves are worst in the league vs. centers (where Sullinger also lines up) over their past five games. Sully averages 11.1 PPG at home vs. 8.8 PPG elsewhere.
  • The Rockets have been the most generous team to opposing PFs over their past 10 games and Williams is averaging 27.4 FPPG over his last two outings, which is acceptable for his cost.
  • Griffin drops to fourth due to the challenging draw vs. OKC, but he’s money at home (25.7 vs. 21.8 PPG elsewhere) and he’s produced over 39 fantasy points in three of his past four games. His ability to return value tonight could be a stretch at his cost, but there aren’t many standouts in this category after the top three.
