Indiana Pacers: Boba Fett

Boba Fett is a bonafide badass. He became one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy and despite losing his bounty hunter daddy at a young age, he didn’t let that tragedy destroy him; it molded him into the dangerous warrior he would become.

The Indiana Pacers can relate to that, especially after watching Danny Granger struggle with injury and ultimately be traded away in the ill-fated Evan Turner trade. Granger was the Jango Fett to Paul George‘s Boba Fett, with the latter growing into a more than worthy successor.

Even better, during the Miami Heat’s Big Three era, the Pacers were virtually the only team in the East capable of placing a bounty on the their heads. Indiana never cashed in on that high-priced target, and eventually met a grizzly end at Miami’s hands much like Boba Fett was bested by a blind Han Solo, but rumor has it that Boba — and the Pacers — aren’t dead yet.
