Despite an 11-14 start to the season, a hamstring injury that sidelined Tyson Chandler for eight games and a disastrous 2-4 road trip that featured four blown fourth quarter leads, the Phoenix Suns are only half a game out of the eighth playoff spot in the Western Conference.

It’s only mid-December, and the Suns still have some things to figure out, but this up-and-down start to Phoenix’s playoff campaign hasn’t been as negative as advertised.
