The Indiana Pacers shocked the basketball community by selecting Arizona Wildcats forward Solomon Hill at No. 23 in the 2013 NBA Draft. Most experts slapped him with a second-round grade, if any at all, but he found a way to come off the board in the Top 25.

Less than three years later, he’s on the trading block.

According to Candace Buckner of The Indianapolis Star, Hill is both available and generating interest around the NBA.

John Reid of NOLA.com confirmed the New Orleans Pelicans’ interest.

"The Indiana Pacers are shopping small forward Solomon Hill and the New Orleans Pelicans are one of the teams that have inquired about his potential availability, sources confirm."

Indiana isn’t exactly eager to pull the trigger, but trade interest exists.

Hill is a 6’7″ and 225-pound small forward with a strong frame and a 6’9″ wingspan. He’s a versatile player who can work and defend multiple positions, also offering a bit of everything on the offensive end.

Hill is a quality ball-handler who can facilitate, attack off the bounce, and shoot. He doesn’t do any one thing at a high enough level to be a consistent option as a playmaker, but there is developable talent.
