6. MVP

Rose accomplished a huge goal when he won the Most Valuable Player Award for the 2010-11 season. He was not only the youngest to ever do so, but the first Bulls star since Michael Jordan.

Skip to 2:39 for his speech. And yes, it is as moving the 10th time around.

"“Last but not least, I want to thank my mom, Brenda Rose. My heart, the reason I play the way I play, just everything. Just knowing the days I don’t feel right, going to practice, having a hard time, I think about her when she had to wake me up, go to work and make sure I was all right. Those were hard days. My days shouldn’t be hard because I’m doing what I’m doing and that’s playing basketball. You kept me going. I love you and appreciate you being in my life.”"

Obviously, this was a very touching moment for Rose. After making winning MVP his goal for the season, it is clear just how much he wanted this. Not only for himself, but for his family too.
