Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers have recovered from a disappointing start to the season. Since falling to 7-8, Griffin has led the Clippers to six wins in seven games.

Over the past week, Griffin played a starring role in Los Angeles securing three straight victories.

Griffin started things off with a bang, posting 28 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists in a 103-101 escape of the Orlando Magic. He put up 16 points, 11 rebounds and five assists against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and capped the week off with 21 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block against the Milwaukee Bucks.

He isn’t producing quite as prolifically as he did at the beginning of the season, but Griffin’s ability to split time between being the focal point of the offense and the decoy has been the driving force behind the Clippers’ recovery.

Chris Paul returning to his star-caliber ways has been huge, but having a power forward as dynamic as Griffin has been the key, thus far. He’s not only scoring with versatility, but crashing the boards and facilitating the offense.

If Griffin maintains his current pace, it’ll net him yet another All-NBA appearance.
