10. DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings
Last Rank: No. 7

DeMarcus Cousins needed the Sacramento Kings’ most recent game. He took on less of the workload as a scorer, picked his spots, and recovered from what was one of the worst three-game stretches in his career.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t save him from falling down these rankings.

Cousins shot 25 percent or worse from the field in three consecutive games. He attempted at least 16 field goals in each of those outings, and while Boogie may have excelled in his most recent outing, he still fouled out and committed five turnovers.

It hasn’t been pretty for Cousins since his torrid start to the season.

Cousins is producing at an unfathomable level, but he’s still a big man shooting 41.6 percent from the field. That needs to change, especially with a point guard who’s leading the league in assists per game.

Perhaps the Kings’ win over the Utah Jazz was what Cousins needed to right the ship.
