5. Highest Point Differential

Last season, the Warriors were one of the most dominant regular season teams in NBA history, posting a point differential of +10.1 and an average margin of victory of +14.4.

Considering how close they were to the NBA records in each of those categories last year, they could very well be in play here in 2015-16.

The 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers are a team the Dubs will be chasing throughout this list, with those Lakers posting the best point differential in NBA history at +12.3. But so far this season, Golden State has a jaw-dropping point differential of +14.9, putting them on pace to shatter the record.

They have a ways to go to reach the 1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks’ all-time mark for the largest average margin of victory (+17.5), but since we’re already one-fourth of the way through the regular season, it’s not unreasonable to wonder if the Warriors can sustain this otherworldly point differential for the entire year.
