Why waste any time? The following players exceeded all expectations during the first full month of the 2015-16 NBA regular season.

For as exciting an opening full month as November was, it’s important to maintain a grasp on reality. It’s still very early in the 2015-16 NBA regular season, which means that unexpectedly hot starts could turn cold without a moment’s notice.

That doesn’t mean one should ignore the key early-season developments.

A number of players have exceeded expectations, utilizing the first 30 or so days of 2015-16 to make a name for themselves. Some have done so by overcoming injuries, while others have simply performed at a level that they’d never previously reached.

One way or another, the following players were the most pleasant surprises of November.
