The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to build on their major turnaround last season, but how is Greg Monroe fitting in?

At 5-7, the Milwaukee Bucks aren’t exactly taking the 2015-16 NBA season by storm following one of the biggest offseason acquisitions in their franchise history. Then again, perhaps expectations for this young team to take a major leap over one summer was a bit too much, especially after they finished at just 41-41 last season.

That being said, even if the Bucks have carried on at a similar .500 pace this year, this is not the same Milwaukee team that we saw last year. Between the injuries, the first full season of Michael Carter-Williams replacing Brandon Knight, and Giannis Antetokounmpo making the leap, these Bucks are still trying to find their equilibrium.

However, the biggest change has come from the addition of Greg Monroe, the aforementioned offseason score for a franchise that’s been adrift at sea for a decade. The Bucks’ bright future rests with the younger talent like the Greek Freak and Jabari Parker, but Monroe is only 25 years old and represents a cornerstone for the new foundation in Milwaukee.

An adjustment process was to be expected, but what have we seen from the Bucks through Monroe’s first 12 games with the team? As Jason Kidd‘s squad tries to find its balance, here’s a look at how the team’s prized acquisition is fitting in so far.
